The service

My Vinyl Library is a free web app for managing a personal record collection: adding records by barcode scan or by hand, searching, sorting and exporting. By using the app you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Your account and data

• The data you add belongs to you. It is stored in your browser and, if you sign in with Google, in the app folder of your Google Drive.
• You are responsible for your Google account and your device.
• We recommend downloading a backup from the menu from time to time ("Backup: download JSON file").

Acceptable use

The app is intended for personal use. Do not use it in a way that harms the service or the external services it relies on, for example by sending an excessive number of requests to MusicBrainz.

Record details and images

Record details come from MusicBrainz, an open, community-maintained database, and from Discogs, and cover images from the Cover Art Archive. They may contain errors or gaps, and you can always edit the details yourself. Cover images remain the property of their respective owners and are shown for your personal use only.

Availability and liability

• The service is provided "as is", without any guarantee of continuous availability or of being error-free.
• We may change, suspend or discontinue the service. If that happens your data stays with you, in your browser and in Drive, and you can export it.
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage arising from use of the app or from loss of data.

Changes

If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
